I am Penny-Anne O'Donnell, the National Voluntary Director of the Conservative Policy Forum (CPF),and  a dedicated Consultant Speech and Language Therapist with over two decades of experience. As a County Councillor for Warwickshire County Council I am deeply committed to serving my community and making a positive impact on people's lives.

Rural Visionaries Unite - The Inaugural CPF Barnstorming Event

In a picturesque barn nestled in the Henley-on-Thames countryside, Penny-Anne O'Donnell, National Voluntary Director of the CPF and Lizzie Hacking, Chair of the Conservative Rural Forum orchestrated the first barnstorming event, ably supported by Caroline Newton who hosted and Caroline Squires, former Chair of CRF. Local members converged to delve into critical rural issues, including food security, farming apprenticeships, and simplified planning for diversification.

The atmosphere crackled with passion as policies were discussed, and visionary ideas flowed.. With an impressive turnout, this event set the stage for future barnstorming gatherings, promising even more engaging discussions and opportunities to shape the rural landscape. Penny-Anne O'Donnell, National Voluntary Director of the Conservative Policy Forum, met with Caleb Cooper, known for his role on Amazon Prime's "Clarkson's Farm." Their conversation centered on early farming apprenticeships and inspiring diverse youth to consider farming careers.

Penny-Anne O'Donnell was pleased to connect with Caleb Cooper, a Morton Morrel College graduate in her Wellesbourne division. Meeting in Stow-on-the-Wold, the discussion emphasized creating accessible opportunities for young people in farming, making apprenticeships more appealing and inclusive. Cooper's journey from the college to Amazon star serves as inspiration for the industry's future.

The meeting highlights collaborative efforts to shape farming's future positively and empower the next generation of farmers, ensuring vibrant rural communities.
